AIBIA Commerce OS / E-Commerce Operating System and Merchant Operations Panel

A pilot infrastructure that brings orders, customers, payment, shipping, invoices, marketplaces, AI content, and support operations into one merchant panel. The live admin remains closed while development proceeds with test evidence and controlled safety boundaries.

Project summary

AIBIA Commerce OS is being developed as an operating layer for daily commerce work, not as a narrow theme-based e-commerce build.

The merchant admin brings orders, customer communication, payment/shipping/invoice preparation, marketplace operations, AI content, and support into one navigation structure.

The project is still controlled pilot infrastructure: live payment, shipping, invoice creation, and customer notifications remain closed while the product is tested.

Services

  • Commerce OS product architecture
  • Merchant admin panel design
  • Order and customer communication flows
  • Payment, shipping, and invoice preparation surfaces
  • Marketplace and AI content operations
  • Testing, safety boundaries, and pilot evidence

Outcomes

  • Merchants can read order, customer, and operation status from one panel
  • Risky live payment, shipping, invoice, and customer notification steps remain inside controlled test boundaries
  • Commerce OS creates the core infrastructure for future business-specific panels and integrations

Challenges

  • Make post-order operations understandable from one screen for SMB and growing commerce teams.
  • Model marketplace, payment, shipping, and invoice work without prematurely opening live mutations.
  • Position AI content and support as a controlled assistant layer next to commerce operations.

Approach

  • Organized the admin panel around business, orders, customers, products, marketplace, payment/shipping/invoice, and support areas.
  • Surfaced order results, customer drafts, manual references, and operation status as visible decision points.
  • Used pilot/test evidence, safety boundaries, and merchant review instead of direct live provider dispatch.

Stack

  • Next.js admin
  • TypeScript
  • Commerce core packages
  • Vitest tests
  • Order operations panel
  • Safe pilot flows
